Architectural Digest organizes tour of traditional home designed by Douglas Design Studio
September 2007 TORONTO, CANADA
Architectural Digest’s Architecture Days, which celebrated architecture and design in Toronto, included a glimpse into a large and very traditional home recently completed by the firm. The tour was called ‘Inside Rosedale and Forest Hill’ and included only four residences, all in very different styles. The Douglas Design Studio interiors were for an American Beaux Arts Revival home, and employed a free use of classical elements from Roman and Greek through to Renaissance and Venetian themes.
