Jeffrey Douglas contributes ‘Constructive Criticism’ on home design in weekend National Post feature
November 2007 TORONTO, CANADA
As part of the National Post’s continuing series on design, Jeffrey was one of three designers and architects who analyzed the layout for a 2,391 sf single family home. Jeffrey provided practical advice on relocating the utility areas – mudroom and laundry – and replanning the master ensuite. Finally, he capped off his column with a thought about the somewhat pretentious use of the term ‘great room’ for a 13 x 15 ft. space, saying, ‘Let’s just call it a living or family room where great things happen!’
