Douglas Design Studio has been selected as a winner by the Outstanding Property Awards London (OPAL) as a Winner in the category Interior Design - Residential Single for our Curvilinear Home.

This renovation preserved the essence of a 1980s home with Art Deco touches while introducing strategic enhancements. A key addition was a breakfast area with a retractable skylight and patio doors, connecting the interior to an upper terrace and lower-level pool.

The project's design language, inspired by the existing staircase's sweeping lines, embraces a curvilinear theme throughout.  The renovation achieves a delicate balance between preserving the home's character and meeting the clients' desire for a refreshed and refreshing functional space.
