The ceremony for the ARIDO (Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario) Awards was held on September 29th. Architects, interior designers and product designers competed for the highly covetable awards, recognizing outstanding achievements in a variety of categories.

Douglas Design Studio was honored to win an award for the design of the Modern Simplicity Home.

These clients were looking to create an urban refuge in a contemporary, minimalist and inviting design. A balance was struck between the traditional, classic architecture and thoroughly modern interior design. This crisply tailored design composes a well-structured, modern yet warm and versatile living space for an active family of five.
