Yorkville Minimalist

A Downtown Retreat

This 1,400 sq ft condo was designed for a professional couple just returning from a few years’ stint abroad. There, they had lived right in the heart of the city - an experience they loved and which led them to embrace the hustle and bustle of the downtown area of Yorkville upon their return to Toronto.

The dining room features a dramatic Bocci 73 chandelier which is visible from almost the entire condo as well as from the street below. With its custom colors and intriguing angles, it becomes a central element of the entire design. It fits perfectly the light and airy feel as well as the neutral colour story with occasional pops of colour. Custom Lualdi “Rasomuro” doors and hardware in anodized aluminium and opaline clear glass ensure privacy while letting in natural light. This marks the first time this iconic Italian brand has been used in a North American residential setting.
