This home specifically set out to celebrate the clients’ European heritage as well as his North American achievements. A variety of motifs, textures and patterns sets a specific mood for each room, yet they are united by a common richness. 

The exquisitely detailed rotunda is typical of the graceful balance achieved throughout the home. The inviting formal living room combines contemporary furnishings with a stunning, traditional limestone fireplace. In the private sitting room, the second fireplace is protected by a custom made rolling screen, a unique design that won an ARIDO award.

The generous kitchen is traditionally styled with a deeply coffered ceiling. Elegantly detailed walnut cabinetry contrasts with gleaming glass tile, smooth stone surfaces and contemporary seating. With each detail rooted in classic European style, yet thoroughly modern, the design strikes a beautiful balance between the old and the new, convenience and style, form and function.
