Down-to-earth Luxury

In this design, the vision was driven by a relaxed sophistication that also reflected the experiences of the urban environments the clients had lived in for years. The result is a warm home that mixes the smooth and elegant with the rough and rustic, creating the perfect environment for settling and raising a family. 

In the living area, an innovative fireplace is exposed on both sides, protected by a glass screen on one side and fully accessible on the other. Athleticism being an integral part of this family’s story, a fully equipped home gym and spa are a vital luxury.

Exterior materials and design elements are brought into the interior, such as in the Indiana limestone masonry that also features in the exterior walls. Breaking down the separation and bringing in the flow of natural light not only references the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, it also expands the space of the home below the extended eaves.
