Stone Grandeur

Luxury Anchored in Texture

This home is deeply grounded in the weight and richness of its materials. Built in a luxuriant river valley, its Lutyens-like character is perfectly suited to its surroundings.

Skilful layering can be seen in the expansive great room. The local Eremosa stone tile walls establish remarkable warmth and richness. The smooth stone surfaces contrast with the lush chenille upholstery and soft wool drapery treatments. The vertical piercing of the archway columns provides a striking counterpoint to the cadenced horizontal pattern of the wall panels.

This richly coloured and textured kitchen is the heart of the family home. In keeping with the overall robust, yet refined, approach to the interiors, it is replete with unique elements and materials. Oak flooring grounds the space; the cabinetry is mahogany. Capturing and reflecting light and movement, the artisanal mosaic backsplash was designed by artist Nancy Zboch.
